May Zaw from the Immigrant Interview episode came back and we had a catch up. We became friends after recording the first episode and this conversation was recorded last month in November, a few weeks after my Thailand trip. Exciting ventures ahead. Listen to the first episode with May Zaw here - https://open.spotify.com/episode/4lXB2AzdsJXg5lWjAvJ38U?si=5107bc9fefea4fb8
On this episode, I did a collab with MinThant Tun of GYOOTSING Podcast. Check out their podcast on https://open.spotify.com/show/4A4eaaCE0oP6t52UEpvzSO?si=bce2f45d89514ea1

The most honest episode so far. If you're in a similar situation like me, you might like to know how I cope with things.

We got Heft back from the very first episode on this episode. It was a random conversation but got deep pretty quick. Always a pleasure to have him on a call. check his stuff out on https://linktr.ee/heftmusic

This might be another one of my favorite episodes I’ve done for this podcast, on par with Le Cat episodes. I spoke to May Zaw, a fan of this podcast and a Burmese immigrant who ‘escaped’ rural Myanmar and has been living in US for more than a decade to talk about her experience and shared my experience. I learned a lot about Burmese village life among many other things. I’m currently building a discord server dedicated to people who love this podcast so will keep y’all posted. Until then, reach me @min_min_min_m1n on Insta xx  Update: discord server link https://discord.gg/Y39eyRCUww
Just a quick update to tell you guys how my life has been in the last couple of months. As mentioned in the podcast, if you ever want to reach out just to say hello or take part in this podcast, please find me on Instagram @min_min_min_m1n
This episode was recorded before the episode with Htet so some trendy topics we talked about might be slightly out of date. This one is with Kent from Trap Vibes and Orre. Wasted youths to wasted adults.
This episode is part 3 of 3 from Manchester recordings. I talked with Min Thu Reign, one of the first Burmese friends I made when I arrived to the UK. We talked about his 10+ years of experience living in the UK and then some random topics.
I’m sorry about the audio being weird again after 30 mins. At least a bit better than the last episode I hope. This episode is part 2 of 3 from Manchester recordings. I talked with Htet Aung, one of the first Burmese friends I made when I arrived at UK. We talked about his 10+ years of experience living in the UK and then some random topics.
I’m so so so sorry about the audio being so crap. First time recording using a field recorder and I fucked up big time. :( This episode is with my old friend Ye Mun who was in a coma for 2 months last year due to Covid. He’s also a musician. We talked about his near-death experience mostly. This is part 1 of 3 from Manchester recordings. I spent Christmas and New Year Eve with bunch of Burmese folks in 2021 and talked with them.
Had a really great conversation with Yangon-based rapper AyZ.  Check him out on soundcloud https://soundcloud.com/ayz2six
I got covid guys lol
Just a quick update to say I'm still around. Sorry haven't been able to post stuff xx
Here is the one-off episode that we did, mostly in English. Apologies to the listeners who might find it difficult to understand. In this episode, we have Htet (untd.io/htet) , a Burmese-born - New York-raised Musician with us today and we talked about so much shit. Shout out to Steph for joining the call briefly and blessing us with your presence. We talked about many things (its a 2 hours + episode) including.. -Going to high school in New York -Racism is everywhere -Super rich are detached from reality -Were people happier decades ago? -If you’re listening to this, please don’t kill yourself -How different people deal with mental health issues -people definitely want different things in life -Do you need to buy a house? -You gotta like the work you do -The vicious cycle of ‘trying to do what you want to do’ -Do you consider yourself lucky or unlucky -Have you seen sex education -Being Half-way immigrants -Are you being yourself right now? -How much of Myanmar history is lie? -Can you separate a person from their action? -Do you consider yourself an artist? -What can you consider art? -Expression vs technicality -Money/fame ruins everything -It’s good to feel appreciated for what you do And many other random topics. Check out her music on Spotify and other streaming platforms. P.S Next episodes will be in Burmese :)
Collaborated with Moon Light discord server on this episode. Get a taste of Rap Against Junta's new album + many other topics.
